It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Chapleau Dickman of Rolla, Missouri, born in Irondale, Missouri, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemuel Roy "Elroy" and Eugenia Wortham; her siblings, Alma Dulz, Rachel Weekley, Marie Whaley, Herman Wortham, Wesley Wortham and Victor Wortham; her husbands, J. C. "Bud" Chapleau of St. Louis and Marvin J. Dickman of Rolla, Missouri.; and her stepsons, Chuck Dickman and Daniel Dickman.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Hempsmyer (J. D.) and Brian Chapleau (Linda); her daughter-in-law Linda Chapleau; her granddaughter Amy Eugenia Chapleau-Lane (Christopher); her nieces and nephews, Doris Hobbs (Brian), Maxine Fosmark (late Daniel Dickman), Rozelle Anderson (Eric) and Richard Dickman (Glenda); and also, Barry and Suzanne Hirth. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Animal House Cat Rescue and Adoption Center or Lutheran Senior Services – Employee Appreciation Fund.
