He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Hale (Loche) and Orville "Fred" Hale. He is survived by: his wife Idena Sherrell; his daughters, Tammy Hale of St. James, MO and Becky Smith (Chris) of Rolla, MO; his granddaughter Audrey Smith; and his brother Fred Hale of St. Louis, MO.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of other friends, family, neighbors, and dancing partners.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
