He is survived by: his mother Rosie Brookshire (Jim Stoffer) of Rolla, MO; his wife Carla Brookshire of Rolla, MO; his children, Shane (Amy Brookshire) of Clinton, MO and Keri Brookshire-Heavin of Rolla, MO.; his grandsons, Sam Brookshire, Ben Brookshire, Stephen Heavin, Josh Heavin, Jeffry Davis, Nathan Davis and Sam Davis; his sister Brenda (Steve Wilkinson) of Olive Branch, MS; and his nieces, Courtney Arensman and Cailey Jackson. He is also survived by many friends and family members.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Children's Hospital.
