He is survived by: his mother Dona Mihlfeld (Dosenbach); his wife Jo Anne Mihlfeld; his children, Major Jacob Mihlfeld (Shay) and Hannah Housewright (Joshua); and his sisters, Diana Hayes and Nancy Pritchett.
