He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Earl Lister and Lillian Lister (Winkleman); and his spouse Leoda Mae Lister (Duncan). He is survived by: his children, Duane Lister (Sherry) and Shelly Loughridge (Joe); his siblings, Bill Lister (Lois), Russell Lister (Joyce), Henry Lister (Carol) and Janet German (Russell); his grandchildren, Jacob Lister (Lisa), Adriana Louhridge and Shanna Loughridge; his great grandchildren, Albrie and Paige Lister; and his parents-in-law, Don, Leona Sieg, JoAnn Duncan and Wanda Hunter. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
