She was predeceased by: her father R. J. Light; her husband Lindy Lee Holmes; her mother Aliene Macormic (McDowell); her stepfather Marvin "Bud" Williams; her brother Robert Light; her stepsister Rosemary Wercinski; her grandson Daniel Holmes; and her great grandchild Matthew Bullock.
She is survived by: her children, Lindy "Lee" Holmes Jr. (Sherry) of Topeka, KS, Charles "Sidney" Holmes (Melba) of Springfield, MO, David E. Holmes (Kimberly) of O'Fallon, MO, Paul E. Holmes (Carolyn) of Blue Springs, MO and Valerie King of Springfield, MO; her brother Vernon Light of Troy, MO; and her stepbrother John Williams of St. James, MO. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other extended family members and dear friends.
