She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gomez and Mary Gomez; her siblings, Pete, John, Mike, Tom, Carmen, Isabel, Conchie, Mary and Rita; and her son Michael Chavez.
She is survived by: her son Tony Chavez (Cathy); her grandchildren, Tyler Chavez and Cameron Chavez; her son David Chavez; her grandchildren, Tom Chavez and Alicia; her children, Isabella, Alejandro, Christopher Chavez and Elizabeth Zalis (Aaron); and her grandchildren, Jay Zalis (Kayla), Andrea Zalis (Carson), Zachary Chavez (Christa) and Micah Mord (Alex). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Truman Elementary Preschool or St. Patrick's Preschool, children organizations close to Lucy's heart. Keep Lucy's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
