With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucy A. Bunton of Rolla, Missouri, who passed away on November 20, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Laney and Evelyn Laney (VanDorn); her husband Herman Bunton; her daughter Bernice Lavy; and her grandchildren, Jeremy "J. D." Bunton and Brooke Bunton.
She is survived by: her children, Dottie McDonald (Darrel) of Rolla, MO and Eugene Bunton (Tammy) of St. James, MO; her sisters, Irene Watson of St. James, MO and Sandra Creed (Carson); and her grandchildren, Becky Brown (Matt), Amanda Quaid, Travis Bunton, Tasha McDonald (Tim), Angie Herman (Randall) and Latoyia Sherfy (Justin). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
