She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Helton and Bessie Helton (Dotson); her former husband Earnie Henson; her husband Lester Cochran; her stepsons, Robert and Kenneth Cochran; and her brother Pete Archie Helton, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Vic Henson (Jackie) of St. James and Lester "Pug" Henson (Linda) of St. James, Missouri; her stepchildren, Paul Cochran (Linda), Larry Cochran (Diana) and Lucreta Yates; and her brother Richard Helton of Virginia. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
