He was predeceased by: his father James Jenkins; his wife Ada Melton; his mother Ada; and his siblings, Don Jenkins, Cordell Jenkins, Bonnie Harris, Betty Glascock, Tom Jenkins and Larry Jenkins.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Jenkins (Lorie) of Flat, Patti Rogers (Richard) of Flat, Joe Jenkins (Patty) of Millstadt and Bryan Jenkins (Janet) of St. James, Missouri; his grandchildren, Jamie Medearis (Tim), Jessica Weikel (Jason), Christopher Rogers (Allissa), Tyler Rogers (Ronnie LaRue), Jacob Jenkins, Jonathan Jenkins, Cayden Jenkins and Gavin Jenkins; his great grandchildren, Madison Rogers, Olivia Rogers, Aria Rogers, Madison Weikel, Tyler Weikel, Ava Medearis and Paisley Medearis; his sister Norma Harris of Edgar Springs; and his brother-in-law Marvin Melton (Wanda) of Edgar Springs, Missouri. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
