He is survived by: his sister Patricia Shanks (Delbert) of Vienna, Missouri; his stepdaughter Julie Ternes; his stepgrandchildren, Amanda Leon of Columbia, Branalyn Perria of Kansas and Thomas Haugland of Columbia, Missouri.; and his nieces, Robbyn Shanks, Patty Mette, Jeannie Fry, Cindy Petershagen, Missy Secrest and Tammy Huber.
