He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Long and Sylvia Long; his brother Frank Long; and his parents-in-law, Ike and Virginia Lenox.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his sons, John Long (Tim Chesney), Mark Long and Paul Long (Martha); and his niece Marybeth Long.
