With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Jane Hane of Rolla, Missouri, born in Steelville, Missouri, who passed away on October 4, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harles Ives and Hazel Ives (Bryant); her husband Michael Hane; her daughter Tabatha Copeland; her sister Harlene; her brothers-in-law, George Sampson and Hershel Light; and her niece Anissa Dunham.
She is survived by: her children, Darla (Larry Buettner, Jr.) of Steelville and Russell Dennis (Tanya Moentmann) of Columbia; her grandchildren, Heather (Mike Riley), Corey (Alecia Simpson), Latosha (Jalen Brown), Nick Buettner, Kayla Simpson (Dakota) and Nita Dennis; her siblings, Terry (Linda Ives) of Kansas City, Keith (Deborah Ives) of Denver, Colorado and Judy Light of Steelville; and her pet Leddy. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; as well as numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
