He was predeceased by: his parents, John Akridge and Clara Akridge (Miner); his son Michael Joseph Akridge; and his siblings, Wendell Akridge of Bill Akridge, J. M, Cleon Akridge, Kay Williams and Emma Lou Pogue.
He is survived by: his former wife Judith Akridge (Feeler); his wife Judy Akridge of Rolla; his children, Tony Rowe (Lisa) of Rolla, Troy Rowe of Rolla and Tammy Hayes (David) of Rolla; his grandchildren, Joey Akridge, Josh Tilley (Laura), Cody Tilley, Ashlyne Ross (Travis), Zach Rowe, Nathan Rowe, Lizzy Rowe, Gunner Shanks, Justin Broccard and Chase Hayes; his great grandchildren, James Tilley, Dylan Akridge, Axel Rowe, Delilah Ross and Makynlee Ross; and his father-in-law Archie Feeler. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
