He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Keeney, Sr. and Bessie Keeney (Driesel); and his siblings, Charlie Keeney, Orville Keeney, Little Gene Elliott, Elouise Middleton and Geraldine Tomlin.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Keeney (Happel); his children, Terry Keeney and Katrina Pogue (Tim) of Rolla, MO; his sisters, Annabelle Yock (Bob) of Owasso, OK and Lou Eissinger of Rolla, MO; his grandchildren, Austin Keeney, Amanda Pogue, Zach Pogue, Jessica Keeney and Jerritt Keeney; and his great grandchild Connor McDonald.
