He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Eugene Horn and Hazel Marie Horn (Getz); and his siblings, Fredrick Horn, Raymond Horn and Janet Marie Faucett.
He is survived by: his wife Imogene Horn (Riden) of Rolla; his children, Dennis James Horn (Dawn) of Jackson, MO, Michael Eugene Horn (Chellney) of Springfield, MO, James Eugene Horn, Jr. of Rolla, MO and Debra Dudley (Jim) of Wentzville, MO; his stepsons, Michael Shomshor (Brenda) of Norfork, AR, Rick Shomshor (Niki) and Ron Shomshor (Janet) of Rolla, MO; and his half-sister Charlotte Thompson (Bill) of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rolla.
