He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank O. Pinkston and Marjorie Pinkston (Rard); his wife Carolyn Pinkston (Bowling); his son Kevin; and his brothers, Frank, Wallace and Robert Pinkston.

He is survived by: his son Keith Pinkston (JoAnn) of St; and his grandchildren, Ethan Light of St. Robert, William Fitch of St. James, Elliott Fitch (Lauren) of St. James and Amelia Baskin (Sam) of St. James. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
