He is survived by: his children, Justin (Ashley) of Rolla, Herbert Anderson Jr. of Tennessee, Bonita Anderson of St. Louis and Annete Bolden of St. Louis; his niece Tasha Webb; his nephew Michael Webb; his grandchildren, Caden and Aliyah Anderson; and his siblings, Luereather Featherstar, Lucy Morris, Lula Grant, Victoria Walton, Litha Ann Peoples and Robert Anderson.
