He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Melton and Mildred Melton (Johnson) of Edgar Springs, MO; his stepmother Edith Melton; and his siblings, Ivan, Denver, Gerald, Virgil, Clifford Melton, Alpha Gondran (Kenneth) and Faye Warfield (George).
He is survived by: his children, Tonya Strauss (late Greg) of Springfield, MO, Sonya McKinney (Randy) of Owensville, MO and Jason Melton (Brenda) of Rolla, MO.; his grandchildren, Christina, Alison, Abigail, Landon, Macy, Troy, Gabe, Michael, Adrianna, Jacob and Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Alexa, Kayden, Audrey Anna and Edan.
