Gene Hodge Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Hodge of Rolla, Missouri, born in Vichy, Missouri, who passed away on November 30, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Hodge and Lola Hodge (Cook); his parents-in-law, Clifford and Berniece Eaker; the mother of his children Peggy Armstrong; his children, Bobby Gene Hodge (Twyla) and Teresa Hodge Lewis; his siblings, Levi Hodge (Wanda) and Leora Metcalf (Perry); and his brothers-in-law, Tom Eaker and Gerald Eaker.
He is survived by: his former wife Peggy Scrivner; his wife Judith Hodge; his children, Steve Hodge (Donna) of San Antonio, TX, Sherrie Christian (Al) of Buffalo, MO, Kathy Denham (Johnny) of Vacaville, CA, Lynn Fessler (David) of Yukon, OK, Marsha Light (Charlie) of Steelville, MO and Michael Cape (Julie) of Rolla, MO; his son-in-law Steve Lewis; his sisters-in-law, Donna Eaker of Brookfield, CT and Ruth Ann Eaker of Geneseo, IL; and his grandsons, Damon Harris, Brad Hodge, Jared Hodge, Luke Christian, Joseph Denham, Jacob Denham, Phillip Fessler, Taylor Oxner and Jacob Oxner. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to The First Assembly of God of Rolla.
