It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Donald Hockman of Rolla, Missouri, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on December 15, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Hockman and Rita Hockman (Rafelson). He is survived by: his wife Anna Mae Woods; his close friend Dottie Whitcomb of Rolla, MO; and his stepchildren, Douglas Jones (Denise) of St. James, MO, Daniel Jones Sr. of Cuba, MO, Selena Belleville (Chris) of Belle, MO and James Jones Sr. (Gina) of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, a host of extended family and many friends.
He was such a giver, he gave to many, many charities in his life, anytime he received anything in the mail asking for a donation (especially for children) he would send a donation.
