With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frederick Ekstam of Rolla, Missouri, born in Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on January 24, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Ekstam and Margrete Ekstam (Mitchell); and his wife Nena V. Thomas. He was also cherished by two stepsons, three grandsons, two sisters, one niece, and one nephew.

In lieu of flowers or contributions, Fred's only wish is that friends meet with one another in appreciation for what friendship can bring to one's life, preferably over a pint or two of good beer!
