She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Whitworth and Ida Belle Whitworth (Chancelor); her husband James E. Smith; her daughter Marjorie Bacon; her son-in-law David Scott Semmann; and her brothers, Ralph Eugene Whitworth, William Robert Whitworth, Harold Floyd Whitworth and Thomas Lee Whitworth.

She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Lucille Lane (Gary) of Doolittle, Janet Sue Kudlack of Doolittle, Connie Bell Arthur (Russ) of Edgar Springs, MO and Patty Ann Semmann of Doolittle; her sister Mildred A. Watkins; and her grandchildren, Kevin Lane (Melissa), Kelly Jurgensmeyer (Jerry), Cassie Lane, Wayne Lane (Kristi), Marci Vande Voorde (Daniel), Marta Milliken (Kevin), Mandi Ramaeker (Kevin), Abbey Auten (Brian), Katrina Karr, Krissy Wilson (Micah) and Travis Karr (Erin). She is also survived by twenty-eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members and dear friends.
