He was predeceased by: his parents, Champ Clark Kitson, Sr. and Leona Bell Kitson (Watts); his wife Dorothy Marie Ousley Kitson (Gidden); and his siblings, Champ Clark Kitson, Jr. and Margie Dietrich.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Gordon Kitson, Jr. (Kathy) of Cuba, MO, Richaleana Cohn (Chuck) of Caseyville, IL, Sherry Smith (Charles) of Rolla, MO and Patty Dicus (Gene) of Cook Station, MO; and his siblings, Kenny Kitson of Collinsville, IL and Audrey Anderson of Cuba, MO. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren; and seventeen great great grandchildren.
