With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Dowler of Rolla, Missouri, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on November 4, 2021 at the age of 63. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Douglas Dowler to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Kottwitz and Margaret Kottwitz (Cupp); his adoptive parents, Glyn Dowler and Lorena Dowler; his stepsister Carole Romans; and his brother Phillip Kottwitz.

He is survived by: his siblings, Eldon Kottwitz (Renee) of Eudora, Kansas, Delmar Keith Kottwitz Jr. (Linda) of Columbia and Helen Thompson (Kevin) of Hutto, Texas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Heifer International.
