She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wesley Cain and Annie Mae Cain; her siblings, Burl Cain, Raymond Cain, Lola Mae Cain and Gertrude Oliver; and her sister-in-law Eunice Davis (Walter Eugene Lister).
She is survived by: her fiancé Gene Lister; her children, Linda (Don Stukey), Kenneth (Cindy Lister), Larry (Sharon Lister), Tammy (Gary Miller) and Gina Lister (NC); her grandchildren, Deborah Stukey (MO), Donald Stukey (MO), Dana Stukey (MO), Zachary Lister (AZ), Heather Dorrestijn (TX), Jason Lister (MO), Jodie Huff (MO), Jaime Olivarez (CO), Henry Miller, Jessica Miller (Fla), Alissa Cherni, Abdo Abadega (NC) and Sam Lister (NC); and her great grandchildren, Harrison Stukey (MO), Jeremiah Lister (AZ), Jack Dorrestijn (TX), Max Dorrestijn (TX), Colten Stehle (TX), Isabella Olivarez (CO), Abraham Olivarez (CO), Nasya Olivarez (CO), Sydney Lister (MO), Reese Lister (MO), Beckett Lister (MO), Emery Huff (MO), Nora Huff (MO), Sawyer Huff (MO), Porter Huff (MO), Jade Cox (Fla), Erica Cox (Fla), Kaleigh Price (Fla), Henry Miller Jr. (Fla) and Marshall Miller. She is also survived by her five children, fourteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dorothy's memory are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
