He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Alonzo and Georgia Helen Britton; his sisters, Sherry Britton, Linda Britton and Judy (Johnny McGuire); his brother-in-law Jack Hardin; and his mother-in-law Millie Bogue.
He is survived by: his former wife Barbara "Barb" Bogue; his wife Barb Britton; his children, Denver "Denny" Britton, Jr. of St. Louis and Samantha S. Britton of Pittsburg; his siblings, Dallas (Sharon Britton) of Cuba, Ray Britton of Cuba, Doug Britton of Cuba, Terry Britton of Cuba, Larry Britton of Cuba, Garnet Britton of Licking, Carol Sue (Leroy Crider) of Cuba, Peggy Hardin of Meta, Nancy Baez of Eldon and Karen King of Cuba; his father-in-law Rich Bogue of Cuba; his aunt Edwina Britton of Cuba; and his siblings-in-law, David (Sherry Bogue) of Greenbrier and Cathy (Charles Schroyer) of Cuba. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
