He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Murphy and Rosemary Sue Murphy (Crumpler); and his sister-in-law Judith Murphy (Null). He is survived by: his brother William J. Murphy Jr.; his son Will Murphy; his grandchildren, Gavin of Paducah, Kentucky and Bailey Murphy of Paducah, Kentucky; his brother David V. Murphy (Debbie Murphy); his nephew Cody Murphy (Brenda Murphy); his great-nephew Jackson Murphy of Ashland; his nephew Cole Murphy; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jadyn and Jagger of Ozark.
