He was predeceased by: his spouse Maudie Pauline Salts (Riden); and his siblings, Ray Salts, Donald Salts, Roy Salts, Robert Salts, Marvin Salts, Herbert Salts and Clara Lorraine.

He is survived by: his sisters, Hazel Akley of Rolla, Dorothy Johnson of Rolla and Ruth Gatten of Rolla. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
