She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Walls and Nellie Walls (Dablemont); her daughter Carol Foster; her brother Wade Walls; and her husband Larry Paxston.
She is survived by: her former husband John C. Umlauf; her children, Sonia Schescke (Keith), Crystal Smith, Christy Porter (Mel) and John, Jr. Umlauf (Linda); her son-in-law Keith Foster; and her sister-in-law Becky Drew (Delmar). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and numerous cousins and friends.
