She was predeceased by: her father Carl Reifsteck; and her son Patrick S. May. She is survived by: her husband Robert May of Rolla; her sons, Michael M. May (Ruth Ann May) of Stillwater, MN and Timothy L. May (Sheryl G. May) of Overland Park, KS; her daughter-in-law Janet Hessler (Dave Hessler) of St. Charles, MO; her siblings, Daniel Reifsteck (Nancy Reifsteck) of Thomasboro, IL and Cathy Jo Brown (late Alan Brown) of Delphi, IN; her grandchildren, Chrissy J. Thompson of Overland Park, KS, Erin L. Valdez (Aaron Valdez) of Phoenix, AZ, Jackson P. May of Overland Park, KS and Patrick J. May (Nicole May) of Hudson, WI; and her great grandchildren, Nicholas Thompson of Overland Park, KS. and Brooks Thompson of Overland Park, KS..
