She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Black and Florence Black (Clark); and her former husband Karl Gabel. She is survived by: her daughters, Chris Gabel Krone (Gabel) and Karlene Gabel Stewart (Gabel); her husband Clyde Phelps; her siblings, Betty Phelps (Ralph), Dorris Black (Willie) and John B.; her daughter Delores Phelps Poe (Gary); her sons-in-law, Mike Krone and Kenny Stewart; her grandchildren, Bonnie, Kevin Krone, Scott Krone (Glenda), Bryon Poe (Darla) and Tori Weller (Curtis); and her great grandchildren, Hadlee Poe and Jessica Penfield. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
