She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hubert Young and Grace K. Young (Steppat); her sisters, Ruby Lark and Alice Gross; her children, Mike Holt and Gina Torres; her sisters-in-law, Erma Miles and Goldie Salts; and her niece Carol Mirth.
She is survived by: her pet Candy Lady of Jerome; her sister Norma Jean Rekosh of Saint James, MO; her children, Carla Bates of York, PA and Chris Bates (Cheryl) of St. Charles, MO; her brother-in-law Lonnie Salts of Rolla, MO; her grandchildren, Danielle Makrias, Samantha Williams, Aaron Holt, Christopher Bates, Jason Bates, Regan Bates, Brady Bates, Logan Bates and Isaac Bates; and her great grandchildren, Grace Makrias, Johnny Makrias, Ellie Holt, Phoenix Holt, Elaine Bates and Ryan Bates. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
