He was predeceased by: his parent Mary Louise Ellis; his stepfather Stan McIlhargey; his brother David McIlhargey; his nephew Michael Agnew; his son-in-law Mark Izatt; and his grandson Benjamin James Ellis.
He is survived by: his close friend Together; his wife Teresa Ellis; his children, Stacey Barnes (Austin) of Winlock, WA, Jennifer Izatt of Climax Springs, MO, Joshua Ellis (Kristina) of Rolla, MO and Sarah Ellis (Tim Frayer) of Rolla, MO.; and his siblings, Tom McIlhargey (Jerry) of Idaho, Ray McIlhargey (Pat) of Oregon and Emma Gilbert (Jay) of Montana. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-children and great grand-children.
