She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Ries and Alberta Ries (Nash); her husband Gary Simpson; and her brothers, Jerry, Jimmy, Danny and Charles Ries.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Shannon (Cindy) of Rolla, Gary Shannon of Dallas, TX, Jesse Simpson of Rolla, Matt Simpson (Chrissy) of Rolla and Patty Simpson of Rolla; her brothers, Ricky Ries of Rolla and Tony Ries of Rolla; her half-sister Diane Ries of Springfield, MO; and her grandchildren, Corey, Latasha, Jennifer, Kayla T., Anthony, Patrick, Logan, Trevor and Kayla S.. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members and dear friends.
