She is also survived by nieces, nephews and close friends.

“Amanda Malone first came into my life when she introduced me to my new students: Alexander Rendon, Maricel Piedrahita, Beatriz Elena Rendon Espinal, and Maria. Amanda volunteered to help interpret my English words for the students, and she interpreted their Spanish words for me. Amanda told me how she taught herself English when she worked at Alex's Pizza. She invited me to Briahnna's quinceaneara, and it was so lovely and magical. Amanda had a beautiful smile. She made the world better.”
