She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson David and Hazel Erma Yeates Igou (Gale); her grandson Philip Mentink; and her brother-in-law Don Brown. She is survived by: her husband Eldon Lee Gourley (Rolla); her daughters, Caryl Cates (Terris) of Rolla, Lee Ann Mentink (Jack) of Rolla and Tracy Phillips of Rolla; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Nathan, Christopher, Emily, Kelly Cates, Joy Mentink, Grant Phillips and Grace Neiterbach (Brad); her sister Loretta Jane Igou Brown of Fordland; and her siblings-in-law, David Gourley (Darlene) of Houston, Georgia Hale (Loren) of Petaluma and Kathy Gourley of Oakland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
Memorial contributions in Joan's memory are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
