He is survived by: his wife Vickie Whitlow; his children, Stacie Moore of Atwater, CA and Jason Powell of Atwater, CA; his stepchildren, Noelle Markin of Crescent, OR and David J. Markin, Jr. of Klamath Falls, OR; his siblings, Jerry Powell (Margie) of Merced, CA, Sheila Adkins (Steve) of Apache Junction, AZ, Deborah Machado (Grant) of Atwater, CA and Karla Kinsel of Atwater, CA; and his stepbrothers, Danny of Atwater, CA and Lee Douthit of Atwater, CA. He is also survived by many grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
