She was predeceased by: her parents, James F. Walker and Rilda Pearl Walker (Mobley); her husband Herbert Lewis; her daughter Verba Alkire; her granddaughter Teresa Pearce; and her sisters, Ruth, Ruby, Iva, Opal, Elma, Orpha and Nadine.
She is survived by: her children, Leon Lewis (Evelyn) of California, Dennis Lewis (Paula) of Clinton, MO, Danny Lewis (Sherry) of Rolla, MO and Dena Houston (Ron) of Rolla, MO; her brother James Walker (Rosie) of Owensville, MO; her son-in-law Ralph Alkire; and her caregiver Virginia Mills. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren.
