He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Embrey and Jewel Embrey (Cox); and his brother Charles (Donna Embrey). He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his children, Dave Embrey (Susan), Dale Embrey and Gina Embrey; his grandchildren, Kyle (Melissa), Destyn, Noah, Jeremy, Chris, Lacy and B. J. (Hannah); his great grandchildren, Hadley and Maverick; and his siblings, Clyde Embrey (Betty) and Ellen Maudena Greichen. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
