John Dale Short Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Dale Short of Rogersville, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John Dale left this world on February 16, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dale and Mildred Kathleen Short (Stone); his son Brent Short; and his sister Deborah Carden. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Grier; his children, Greg Short of Fordland, Gary Short (Channon) of Springfield and Johnna Pedersen (Chris) of Strafford; his grandchildren, Haven Paige Short, Hira, Atley and Ian Pedersen; and his siblings, DeLayne Humble of Rogersville and Sam Short of West Plains. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the J. D. Lee & Sons Funeral Home (7405 E Ferrell Ln, Rogersville, MO 65742). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
