He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Cooper and Edna Harmon Cooper; his wife Donna Cooper; and his siblings, Robert Cooper and Betty McCampbell.

He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Gagnepain of Clever, Nancy Rankin (Mike) of Fort Atkinson and James Cooper (Sandy) of Branson, Missouri.; and his brother Donald Cooper of Shelbyville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Preferred Hospice in Ozark, Missouri.
