She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Compton and Ina M. Compton (Jennings). She is survived by: her husband James; her children, LaTina Davis (John) and Michael Rankin (Donna); her sister Dixie McMahon; and her grandchildren, Jim Davis, Jennifer Kellogg, David Driskell (Danielle) and Dylan Driskell (Lindsey). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
