It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilma Lafern Thompson of Rocky Comfort, Missouri, who passed away on July 21, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lee and Dorthy Jane Horton (Clark); her husband Gerald Lee "Jerry" Thompson; and her daughter Wanda Thompson. She is survived by: her children, George Thompson (Sharon) of Cassville, Missouri, Brenda Thompson of Cassville, Diane Elwin of Springdale and Beverly Gibbs (Jim) of West Green, Georgia. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren.
