She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles R. Strickler and Irene Strickler (Harleman); her husband Ed; her siblings, James Strickler and June Morgan; and her grandson Michael Ryan Gilmore.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terry (Jerry Welch) of Sedalia and Susan Null of Grain Valley, Missouri; her grandchildren, Stephen Ratliff (Misty) of Sedalia, Jaime (Russell Stewart) of Sedalia, Lori (Keith Weaver) of Oak Grove and Codey Null of Odessa, Missouri; and her siblings, Charles Strickler (Martha) of Peoria, Arizona, Bernice Marshall of Appleton City and Betty (Jerry Hayes) of Creighton, Missouri. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren, along with a multitude of friends.
Clara's wishes were that any MEMORIAL donations be made to the Appleton City Library or the Appleton City Cemetery.
