He is survived by: his wife Loni Elrod of Rockaway Beach, Missouri; his sons, Joel Michael Elrod (Yolanda) of Kansas City and Adam David Elrod (Betty); his grandchildren, Jadeah, Sincere and Joel Jr.; his parents, James David Elrod and Doris Mae Elrod (Kees); his brother Michael Elrod (Ann); his nephews, Ian and Michael Elrod; and his niece Caitlin Elrod (Rusty).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the The Sanctuary of Hope (1790 Bee Creek Rd, Branson, MO 65616).
