He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Howell and Stella Howell (Price); and his siblings, Jerry, Lloyd, Marion, Bill Howell and Beverly Howell (Joyce Tunnell).
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Frances Welch; his sons, Bill Howell of Rock Port and Tony Howell of Rock Port; his grandchildren, Katie Romines (Tyler), Nick Howell (Shadie) and Rock Port; his great grandchildren, Zoey Romines and Bradley Howell; and his sister Shirley Fansher of Maryville, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
