He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace "Jack" Franklin and Fern Pitts (Walker); and his siblings, Helen Bibbs, Jackeline Rogers, Bonnie Mires and Marilyn Sportsman.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jane Pitts, Ronnie Dale Pitts and Jack Pitts, Jr.; his wife Donna Pitts; his children, Trayton Pitts (Julie) and Nikki Parshall; his granddaughters, Morgan and Mercedes Parshall; and his sisters, Darlene Manini and Erma Lockhart (Richard). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Alzheimer's Association.
