Mildred Irene Stemmons Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Irene Stemmons of Rocheport, Missouri, who passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Hill and Hickman Leonard; her husband Elroy Stemmons; her siblings, Millard, Fred Hill, Floyd Leonard and Auida Smith; and her daughter-in-law Leta Jean Stemmons.
She is survived by: her children, Roy L. Stemmons (late Leta) of Columbia, MO, Maeola L. Rowles of Boonville, MO, Yolanda D. Caruthers (Drew) of Columbia, MO, Beverly J. Green (Will) of Columbia, MO, Sherry L. Jackman (Michael) of Fayette, MO, Patricia K. Chavis (Dion) of Indianapolis, IN and Melody L. Eubanks (Robert) of Wooldridge, MO; and her sister Beverly Ann Holt (late Sonny). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul United Methodist Church (300 E Davis St, Fayette, MO 65248). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
