He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Southerland and Elnora Head Southerland; and his son Patrick Southerland. He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Southerland (Tracy) of Harrisburg and Janet Sapp (Dennis) of Columbia; and his stepdaughter Roxann Melvin (Billy) of Columbia. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
The family requests that those attending wear a face mask to protect others.
